A true Heavy Metal veteran growing up in the L.A. Thrash Metal scene since he was a teenager back in the early 80’s

Going to school with members of Slayer and Megadeth and being friends along with bands such as Savage Grace, Omen, Dark Angel and way too many more to mention paved the way for him in music at a young age.

He was working for these bands as guitar tech and stage manager learning all he could in music and touring the world with them many times over and surviving the 80's metal scene the best he could with great success!

He eventually learned to play guitar just by watching these talented musicians and played in several local bands while touring and gigging when he had the time.

Working with these bands led to him working for Motorhead for over ten years and many other well-known world acts such as Slayer, Death, Haunted Garage, Strapping Young Lad, Ziggy Marley as Guitar, Bass, Drums, and then sound, merchandise, lights and eventually as tour manager touring the world many times over. He secured a job working for Dreamcatcher and Cherokee studios doing sound recordings, video and as a session musician.

When he decided to play Bass full time, he invested his time and energy pursuing learning music full time. He has obtained two Masters Degrees in Theory and Performance from The Berkeley School of Music by 1990 and then moved back to California and was performing and recording while working in the music industry for management and record labels.

Playing, recording and touring the whole time he was involved with a signed  act "Grumbletummy"with his ex-girlfriend for about 15 years.

He joined the reformed Thrash Metal band Dark Angel in 2004 and recorded Creeping Death for the Grammy award winning album Metallic Attack. Unfortunately the band disbanded once again.

Danyael has been part of many signed national Metal acts over time such as Kill Ritual, Soldiers of Death, Inhale etc, and played Punk Rock for a few years with Zyklon-B, Rash and Ten Foot Pole to name a few.

​

As a Fretless bass virtuoso, he is an industry stalwart with a wealth of musical experience and knowledge.

Danyael has been endorsed and currently uses Ibanez , Music Man, Dean Guitars, Ernie Ball, Dean Markley and DR strings.
