The Founder, Vocalist and Lead Guitarist for Nature of the Beast,

Born in the Philippines moved to California in 1988.

December 25th 1994 Joseph got his 1st guitar (fender Stratocaster), this is where his journey began

 

Living the Grunge days of the early 90s he wanted more aggression. In his search for more be fell in the Punk Rock Lifestyle and started his 1st official band “Social Contract” playing all over Southern California and released their album (Death Punk) sold in “Dr Strange Records”.

 

When the band ended he formed “Kaotic Kreature” which was a cross over band influenced by Thrash Metal and Punk Rock, the band also played all over Southern California but in time faded away as member moved out of the area.

 

Shortly after that He started “Army of Darkness” releasing their demo “4 Days in Hell” which brought them to to the map and played all over the US and Mexico. The band-shared stages with well know bands and even had guest musicians play leads in their 1st album “Forever Undead”. He then started producing music for I.E. Death and released their self titled album which you can find in all streaming platforms

 

He also played drums for “Angels of Death” (IE SLAYER!!! Tribute) and guest performance and video for Black Oil, and Taipan. He is currently playing drums for Formidity (Death Metal Band from Riverside) and now the bassist and front man for “Angels of Death”

 

When “Army of Darkness” broke, he wanted to start something different. He wanted a sound that has a mix of everything he likes such as Death, Black, Thrash, Grind, Punk and Classical. He wanted to create a band were they can play punk shows and metal shows. He started writing and producing the music creating a demo and in early 2018 “Nature of the Beast” was born.
